We transformed an outdated space into a modern bathroom by using gray, black and wood tones, a dark wood vanity with double sinks, a large mirror with LED lighting and black plumbing fixtures. The team added a glass shower enclosure with mosaic tiles, built-in alcoves with LED spotlights, underfloor heating and strategic LED lighting. The renovation resulted in a stylish, practical and organized bathroom.
This project completely transformed an old bathroom. It has become a modern and functional space. We focused on using contemporary design elements, advanced comfort features and practical solutions. The result is a sophisticated bathroom. It was finished in just 15 days and cost €10,000.
Visual Transformation: Before & After
The original bathroom was quite outdated. It had plain white tiles, old plumbing fixtures and standard cabinets. The transformation is striking:
Overall look: The new bathroom has a stylish, modern look. It used a mix of gray, black and wood tones.
Sink: We installed a modern dark wood floating sink. This vanity has a wide countertop with two sinks and matte black faucets. A large mirror with built-in LED lighting makes the space appear larger. A dark heated towel rack adds comfort and style.
Bad & Shower: The new bathtub has modern black fittings. Large-format tiles surround it. We created an attractive shower enclosure. This enclosure has a glass partition with a black frame. Beautiful mosaic tiles finish the shower area and bathtub niche.
LED lighting: We used LED lighting in the mirrors and niches. It is also used as accent lighting, for example under the bathtub. This lighting creates a warm atmosphere.
Key project features and technical insights
The most important part of the renovation was the new kitchen. We did the following:
Built-in Niches: We created three niches in the shower and bath area. They keep toiletries organized and easily accessible. It reduces clutter around the tub or shower. The niches allow owners to place items at a convenient height so they don't have to bend or stretch unnecessarily. It is also finished with clear mosaic tiles. They also have integrated LED spotlights.
Underfloor heating: Installing underfloor heating needs careful planning. The choice between electric systems or different types of water-based systems depends on several factors. Heating elements must be evenly distributed for consistent heat. Thermostat integration and compatibility with tile flooring are also important.
Partition walls: Bathroom partitions create separate zones, such as a shower wall. For this bathroom, we used a glass wall with a black frame for the shower enclosure. It accentuates the shower area beautifully. It also keeps the bathroom open and spacious.
Mosaic Tiles & LED Lighting: We used mosaic tiles in the alcoves. They add texture, color and visual interest. Strategically placed LED lights create different atmospheres. They provide task lighting (for example, near the mirror).
Result
Now the renovated bathroom is a stylish and practical space. We carefully integrated built-in niches, comfortable floor heating and a trendy partition wall. Modern tiles and lighting also helped make this room a perfect space.
