This three-month renovation project in Rotterdam completely transformed a residential house into a modern, spacious and functional home. The work included a new 3x5 meter extension, a complete conversion of the basement with bedroom, living room and bathroom, and structural reinforcement of the facade. The result is a contemporary living space designed for comfort, sustainability and contemporary lifestyle.

Major construction and expansion

The main goal was to create more space. First we did major construction works to make the property bigger and better:

Modern kitchen system: We installed a sleek, modern kitchen with glossy white cabinets and an island with dark countertops.

Built-in appliances: Trendy built-in appliances, including an induction hob with integrated extractor hood, improved functionality.

Finishing: The space was fully prepared with plumbing and electrical installations to support the new layout and equipment.

Bathroom & Toilet

Basement Bathroom: As part of the basement renovation, we built a complete bathroom that provides the new living space with the necessary amenities.

Toilet modernization: We have modernized the old toilet facilities.

We installed a modern wall-mounted toilet, a compact washbasin and modern tiles with a combination of large format and structured accent tiles.

Interior finishes and systems

We used high-quality finishes and modern systems throughout the interior:

Flooring: We laid new polyvinyl chloride (PVC) flooring in a stylish herringbone pattern. We complemented it with an underfloor heating system for added comfort.

Windows: All windows were replaced with high-efficiency models. A striking bay window floods the room with natural light and offers picturesque views.

Doors: New paneled glass doors with black frames provide an elegant, modern touch.
